Questions & Answers
We have suggested questions and answers for you that may be of interest to you.
What size space is this ceiling fan designed for?
The Vaczon 84-inch and 100-inch HVLS ceiling fans are designed for large indoor spaces over 350 sq. ft., including warehouses, workshops, factories, gymnasiums, garages, and other commercial areas.
Is the fan noisy during operation?
No. Its efficient 50W DC motor operates at approximately 45dB, delivering powerful airflow with low noise for a more comfortable work or recreation environment.
What ceiling height and clearance does this HVLS fan require?
For safe operation, keep the fan blades at least 7–10 ft. above the floor. Allow at least 30 in. of clearance from the blade tips to the ceiling and to any wall or vertical obstruction. Always confirm the final installation height based on your ceiling structure, local code, and the installation manual.
Which downrods are included, and can I order a longer one?
This fan includes three downrods: 5 in., 10 in., and 24 in. Choose the length that keeps the fan blades within the required floor, ceiling, and wall clearances. For higher ceilings, optional 36 in. and 48 in. extension downrods are available by special order and must be purchased separately.
Can this fan be installed outdoors or on a covered patio?
No. This model is rated for dry locations only and is intended for indoor use. Do not install it outdoors, in humid buildings, on covered patios, or anywhere it may be exposed to moisture, condensation, wind-driven rain, or direct water.
Why does a large HVLS fan rotate more slowly?
HVLS means High Volume, Low Speed. Instead of producing a narrow, high-speed blast of air, the large 84 in. or 100 in. blade span moves a high volume of air gently and efficiently across a wider area. Its lower RPM helps provide smoother airflow, lower noise, and lower energy use while still delivering up to 11,500 CFM.
Can this fan be installed on a sloped ceiling?
Yes. This downrod-mounted fan supports ceiling slopes up to 15°. Ensure the blades maintain the required clearance from the ceiling, walls, and other obstructions before installation.

"The first fan was amazing. The second fan, i needed a longer rod and wiring to customize for my 24ft ceiling. I have called, emailed and FB message without resolution. I said i will buy the longer rod and wiring, but still have a fan i can not use in living room."

"The fan was just what I needed for my shop. Next to the barn."

"Was supposed to be 100” not 84. Apparently when you click on 100 it loads 84 in your cart and doesnt tell you until its on the way even though it still say 84”100”"

Nice quality and good looking.
"Fan looks good with the living room décor and have a slick but powerful design which makes it not only look nice but also giver cool breeze of air. Does not make noise and remote gives ease of use. The light is bright enough and remote gives easier functionality. Over all a great buy."
Thrilled with this fan
"Thrilled with this fan. It is a fantastic addition to our space! Installation was pretty straightforward, and the instructions were clear enough to guide us through the process without much hassle. Once up and running, this fan really delivers. The airflow is impressive! It includes three different downrod lengths, so you can customize how low it hangs based on your ceiling height. Plus, the included remote and wall mounted holder make it super convenient to control. Highly recommend!Read less"
Still waiting on the light

Talk about moving some air!
"Talk about moving some air! This fan is quite large but we have a big room and we love it. Fans are so easy to install these days and the instructions are easy to follow. Multiple speeds make it feel like a wind tunnel. Hopefully it will cut our cooling bill down! Great purchase."
