Is this 84-inch or 100-inch fan right for my space?
This oversized ceiling fan is designed for large spaces over 350 sq. ft., including great rooms, open-concept living areas, gyms, workshops, warehouses, and covered patios. Choose the 84-inch model for large residential or garage spaces. The 100-inch model is better suited to more open areas where broader air circulation is needed. Please allow enough room for the full blade span and keep the fan clear of walls, beams, doors, and shelving.
What ceiling height and clearance do I need?
This downrod-mount fan measures 15.3 inches from the ceiling to its lowest point. For safe operation, install the fan so the blades are at least 7 ft. above the floor, with adequate open clearance around the entire 84-inch or 100-inch blade span. The package includes 8-inch and 12-inch downrods to help fit different ceiling heights. Before ordering, please measure your ceiling height and planned installation location.
Which downrods are included?
The package includes two downrods: 8 inches and 12 inches. The 8-inch downrod is generally suitable for standard-height ceilings, while the 12-inch option provides additional space between the fan and ceiling. For taller ceilings, please contact us before ordering to confirm compatible extension options for this model.
Can this fan be installed on a covered patio or outdoors?
This fan is suitable for indoor areas and covered patios. It must be installed in a protected location away from direct rain, standing water, and continuous wind-driven moisture. It is not intended for uncovered outdoor locations. For an exposed porch, pergola, or patio, choose a fan specifically rated for wet locations.
Why does a large fan rotate more slowly?
A large ceiling fan uses its wide blade span to move a high volume of air without needing extremely high RPM. This creates broad, smooth circulation rather than a narrow, harsh draft. The 84-inch fan reaches up to 95 RPM and delivers up to 11,200 CFM. The 100-inch version reaches up to 80 RPM and delivers up to 11,500 CFM—ideal for circulating air across larger rooms.
How does the LED light work? Can I adjust the brightness and color?
Yes. The integrated 22W LED light provides up to 2,200 lumens of illumination and is controlled with the included remote. You can adjust the brightness and select from three color temperatures: - 3000K: warm, inviting light - 4500K: balanced everyday light - 6000K: bright, cool white light The fan and light can be controlled separately, allowing you to adjust airflow and lighting for different activities and times of day.
What can I control with the remote?
The included remote lets you control the fan and light from anywhere in the room. You can select from 6 fan speeds, turn the light on or off, adjust brightness, and switch between the three light color temperatures. The energy-efficient DC motor uses up to 40W for the 84-inch model and 55W for the 100-inch model, helping deliver powerful airflow with lower energy use.
